BEIJING — With her trademark blistering kick, Tirunesh Dibaba of Ethiopia ran the second-fastest women’s 10,000 meters ever on Friday night to take the gold medal in the opening track race of the Beijing Games.

She ran an outstanding race! So fun to watch her kick it on the last lap! This was a great race...yah for the American bronze medalist, too...only the second American woman to ever medal in this event. The Olympics are great this year, huh?!
I haven't seen it yet but but I'll be sure to watch for it. That is so exciting for her and her country!
