We received an update on A*. We knew he was small. Now we know just exactly how small he is.A* weighs a feathery light 28 pounds. He stands in at 31.9 inches tall. I've gotten a diagnosis. There may be more coming, but for now Oral Allergy Syndrome , or OAS, accounts for some of my food allergies. Well, it's been two weeks since we submitted our HS (home study) to the court asking for it to be expedited. Since it generally takes a month for approval I'm assuming we didn't find favor with the commissioner. In my book one month minus a day isn't really expedited service, but that's just me. We received new pictures of A* thanks to some friends who recently travelled to Addis Ababa.WOW! is all I can say. A* looks completely different. He's gained weight, which is a wonderful thing! We didn't have to worry much about language with Jonas. I had expected and planned for speech delays but, turns out, the boy is a chatter box and naturally seems to be a more verbal person.
