On My Knees

We're coming up to a point where the delays in getting home study approved could potentially necessitate some other paperwork being redone. This would cause further delays in the process of bringing A* home.

We trust the Lord's timing no matter which way things happen. But, feel we ought to do our part to pray diligently over the paperwork since we cannot ever fully know His ways. We've seen Him work miracles for us in some situations, and in others the miracle was that things didn't go according to our plans and that God could still reign over those circumstances. God was good in each case.

Needless to say I'll be spending some time on my knees in prayer. I thought that while I was down there I'd pray for you all as well.

If any of you would like to add your prayer request to my list please leave a comment and I'll add it to my agenda.

Blessings, friends!

Oh, friend. Sorry to read this. I will be praying that A can come home even sooner than you ever dreamed and that, no matter what the timing/outcome, your family will experience not only peace, but joy also in the wait!!! Still, I know this is difficult realizing you're missing time with your boy and also knowing that the doctors and everyone here are ready & waiting to give him the very best!

I've been a bit stressed & down lately. I'd love to be lifted up in prayer. Thank you!

Hugs to you!

Erica

I'm concerned about expenses for this last portion of our adoption. Money has always been a difficult area for me to trust God in and so going into an adoption as a one-income family has been a growth experience for me! I feel like we've about reached the end of what we can do and it scares me even though I know it shouldn't.

I'll be praying for you as well!

Jamey, I can relate. I look forward with great anticipation to see how God will provide for your needs!

I've been following along for a little while, but I don't understand why your homestudy is taking so long. Hoping it's approved pronto!

Unfortunaately lots of little, stupid delays have added up to many months. The SW took a while longer to type up the HS, the agency took a while longer (over the holidays) to approve the final draft. Now the courts are taking a long time to approve it. No ones fault really, just a strange turn of events for an adoption that was supposed to happen lightening fast.

But, isn't that the way ALL IA's go!? lol.:-)

I don't know that there's been anything in my life to equal your endurance in this process. Bless your heart; I can only imagine the disappointment and concern.

I'll be praying too, Jen.

As for me and my house ... well, just keep my beloved children & grandchildren in mind. They each need the Lord, and His precious salvation.

Blessings,
Kathleen

You can definitely be in prayer for our family! I can't even explain all the frustration right now but it's real and we're struggling.

I will be in prayer about A and his quick homecoming!
